Never Give Up!

Hi guys!! Good Morning to you!! 

I pray you are finding your way and trying with all your might! Never give up!! You will find your purpose.

I found mine finally after 48 years of trying and trying again! Little did I know I would be a children's book author. I have always wanted to write books. I love writing and reading. I have books and books of poems and songs that I have written over the years. I was just too afraid to take the first step! I did not think I could do it, but I did. I found my purpose and I'm so happy I did. Take that first step and you will be happy you did too!!

I remember when I was about 13 years old I entered a poem writing contest in the Maryland Pennysaver. It was a Mother's Day contest. I won third place in that contest. I won my mother some beautiful roses. I thought as I entered the contest I would never win. They had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. I came in 3rd place. I was so happy that I was able to give my mother those roses. She was a single mother taking care of my siblings and I. We didn't have much, but she always found a way to provide. I was so happy to make my mom's mother's day a little more brighter that year!

Writing has always been a passion of mine. I love writing my JOEY SAVES THE DAY! books. I also have a short story that I am writing for adults.
